Whether you're a workplace leader, healthcare professional, or a woman experiencing menopause, FLASH FORWARD offers the opportunity to understand and contribute to the future of menopause & longevity care.
Go beyond expert talks and be part of building real, implementable solutions for menopause and longevity support across Asia.
Hear from healthcare, corporate, insurance, and government leaders. Leave with practical frameworks that can be applied immediately.
See how coordinated support in menopause and longevity strengthens healthspan, career longevity, and organisational sustainability.
Menopause impacts not just women—it affects families, employers, and economies.
Women in their 40s and 50s now represent one of the fastest-growing demographics in the workforce, making it more critical than ever for employers to address their unique health and workplace challenges. Lack of support leads to talent loss, reduced productivity, and missed opportunities for inclusion.
Globally, menopause is estimated to result in over US$150 billion per year in lost productivity.
Key insights from the 2025 research paper, Menopause and the Bottom Line: A Critical Leadership Challenge for APAC Leaders show:
of women going through menopause hold middle to senior leadership roles
cite stigma as a barrier to talking about menopause at work
of female employees believe workplace menopause support would be valuable—yet most organisations remain unprepared
This disconnect leads to disengagement, absenteeism, and early exits from the workforce at a time when retention, wellbeing, and inclusion have never been more critical.
We brought Singapore’s health and wellness professional community together with people who want to know more about menopause and how to treat it, to uncover what needs to change in the system and how we can improve support. This year we advance further by bringing the whole support, work and health ecosystem into one conversation.
Hear from leading voices from APAC to share expert knowledge on menopause, longevity, workplace & policy support.

Dr Sham Govender is a physician, Specialist in Anaesthesia and Critical Care, and a clinical leader in precision longevity medicine. She currently leads Clinical Medical Operations at Chi Longevity in Singapore, where she works at the intersection of biomarker-driven precision geromedicine, metabolic health optimisation, and multidisciplinary longevity care.
With more than fifteen years of experience spanning critical care medicine and global health consulting, Dr Sham brings a systems-level perspective on how chronic disease develops across the lifespan. Her early career in anaesthesia and intensive care exposed her to the downstream consequences of metabolic dysfunction, cardiovascular disease, and chronic inflammation, conditions that often develop silently for decades before presenting as acute illness. This experience now informs her work in longevity medicine, where the focus shifts from treating disease to identifying risk earlier and intervening before pathology emerges.
Over the past decade, Dr Sham has also worked extensively in corporate medical consulting and global health advisory. She previously served as a Corporate Medical Consultant and Coordinating Physician at International SOS in Singapore, supporting multinational organisations with medical risk mitigation, crisis response, and duty-of-care strategies for international workforces. She later worked as a Strategy and Wellbeing Lead at Accenture, advising major technology and healthcare organisations globally on workforce resilience, digital health transformation, and the responsible adoption of emerging technologies in healthcare.
At Chi Longevity, Dr Sham works at the intersection of clinical science and programme strategy, translating advances in longevity research into structured health programmes that are both clinically evidence-based and commercially relevant for individuals and organisations. She collaborates closely with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nutritionists, psychologists, and health coaches, to ensure longevity interventions are grounded in rigorous diagnostics and biomarker insights while remaining practical and scalable in real-world settings. Her work focuses particularly on cardiometabolic health, inflammation biology, and the physiological transitions women experience in midlife, areas increasingly recognised as critical to long-term healthspan and workforce wellbeing.
Dr Sham is currently completing an Executive MBA in Singapore, where she focuses on healthcare innovation, longevity strategy, and the future of preventive medicine.

Cornelia is a therapist, coach, and former physiotherapist — passionate about helping people feel truly at home in their bodies and lives. With over 20 years in physiotherapy, I learned that pain is rarely just physical. Our bodies often carry the weight of emotional stress, survival patterns, and past experiences.
My own journey — raising two sons, sustaining a decades-long relationship, and living across the globe for 25 years — taught me that life is far from linear. These experiences inspired me to train in NLP and work at the intersection of body, mind, and environment.
Today, I help clients move beyond physical pain and emotional overwhelm toward confidence, resilience, and self-empowerment.

Welcome: Advancing Midlife Health & Workforce Longevity
Emcee
Founder of Sol
Midlife is a defining stage of life — for women, for families, and for the organisations and systems they support. As more women remain in the workforce through their 40s, 50s, and beyond, health changes during midlife are increasingly shaping how people work, care, and contribute. Yet these changes are often poorly understood, inconsistently supported, or addressed too late.

This presentation examines the real economic and organisational costs of menopause, why current systems fail to address them effectively, and where opportunities exist for earlier intervention, better support, and smarter investment that benefits individuals, employers, and healthcare systems alike.

Midlife is a pivotal period for long-term health, work capacity, and economic participation — yet it is often overlooked in workforce and healthcare planning. This session explores the connection between menopause, longevity, and workforce sustainability, and why timely support during midlife can shape health trajectories, productivity, and retention over decades. We’ll examine what employers, healthcare systems, insurers, and individuals need to understand about early intervention — and why investing in midlife women is critical for a resilient, future-ready workforce.

Greater awareness of menopause has brought more treatment options into view, though the quality and evidence behind them vary widely. This session cuts through the noise to clarify what is supported by science, what remains uncertain, and where misinformation can create risk. We’ll explore why treatment choices matter not just for individual health, but also for workplace performance, benefits design, insurance claims, and long-term outcomes — and what employers, insurers, clinicians, and individuals need to understand to make better, safer decisions.

Drawing on real organisational examples, we explore how leadership intent, manager capability, flexibility, peer support, clinical pathways, and benefits design matter. Attendees will leave with clear principles for building workplace support that is practical, inclusive, and effective for women in midlife.

Menopause affects many aspects of health — from hormonal balance and brain function to cardiovascular risk, metabolic health, and musculoskeletal strength. Yet women often receive fragmented advice and are unsure where to turn for support. This session brings together four practitioners. Together they will explain how different areas of health interact during midlife, what screenings and lifestyle changes matter most, and how women can advocate for the care they need to protect their health, energy, and long-term wellbeing.
